5 stars even though I have some negative reviews
Well, let's start with the positives, which are many
1. The photos are AMAZING! A camera with 20.1 megapixels is what an amateur photographer needs!
2. Good zoom! Of course, I would prefer more... not just 35x, it's not good... The zoom in general helps me a lot with focus and in low light conditions.
3. The flash is strong and powerful!
4. It has many settings and effects *I repeat* for amateurs! I have just started getting into photography and these effects, especially when used in detail, have helped me a lot!

Now it's time for the negatives
1. The video! The video has amazing resolution, but when you record, you can hear the noise of the camera! This is quite annoying, but it doesn't bother me too much...
2. The BATTERY! I really hate the battery! Well, this camera works with batteries! The issue is that I bought it yesterday and today the batteries ran out! I had to buy new ones! That's a waste of money! Of course, I could say that the batteries were already in the box, so it's probably the company's fault.

In summary, this camera is EXCELLENT! It has a few flaws, but overall it's worth it! Get it!

5 stars - although with reservations - and I will tell you why:

Positives:
1. The zoom is excellent, no matter how you look at it. Honestly, for this price, I couldn't find such a large zoom when I bought it.
2. Similarly, for this price, I couldn't find such a variety of manual settings on any other camera.
3. The daytime photos are very good. The nighttime photos are satisfactory. The flash also makes night look like day.
4. Because I use it in manual mode and not in Auto, my photos come out clear (during the day) with a low shutter speed. In Auto, someone might notice that their hand shakes a little.

Negatives:
1. Grain. A lot of grain, and unfortunately, I have always been negative about Sony cameras because of this. Even for the Sony Xperia Z series mobile phones, which I never believed were really 20 megapixels. Yes, they are 20 megapixels, but when you put the photo on the computer and want to see its actual size, you still see the grain even in excellent lighting conditions. The 20MP is honestly a marketing trick; the camera is like artificially upscaling the 13MP to 20MP by adding grain.
2. The 4.5 focal length doesn't personally excite me.
3. The video is not bad, but I include it in the negatives because when recording video with automatic focus, you can hear a mechanical sound, obviously from the autofocus. Yes, when you watch your video, you hear little robots.
4. It could have had a classic microUSB for connecting to the computer, but Sony chose to use a proprietary port, which means that if I lose the cable, I will have to search to find THAT cable.

Neutral opinion:
The battery. It takes standard AA batteries. I bought a set of rechargeable batteries with a charger. The negative is that you have to buy batteries, either rechargeable or standard alkaline. The positive is that in case you run out of battery while you're out, a kiosk will solve your problem, or an extra set of regular alkaline batteries in your bag. Its battery life is very good (I haven't measured how many hours, but I have no complaints about the battery life), of course, it also depends on the type of batteries you use. Another positive from this story is that with the opportunity of buying the charger, I now also buy rechargeable batteries for my other devices at home and have saved money on that expense.

Conclusion: I would give it 4 stars. But the 5 stars compensate for the performance with the price. The Manual Settings are what changed my negative impression with the grain. If you are a beginner or an amateur photographer, or if you need full manual settings and don't plan to spend more than 200 euros, it is ideal. It is an opportunity for someone to learn about the camera and develop a love for photography, and in the future, make a more informed purchase for their next camera.

As a demanding user, I will be completely objective. The camera is sufficient for those who are starting with photography or need it for tourist purposes, meaning using it in auto mode. On the other hand, someone who already has some knowledge in using cameras, both DSLR and bridge, will easily notice several disadvantages, such as the fact that photos usually come out slightly overexposed unless you use manual or program mode. Additionally, there is a lack of macro mode, although it focuses quite well and it would be very convenient to have it. The absence of a full manual mode is also noticeable, even though there is a setting for shutter speed that is quite useful up to 30", it still limits you somewhat. Furthermore, the image stabilization is not of the best quality as it does not perform very well. However, using a tripod solves the problem unless your hands shake like mine, like a 90-year-old with Parkinson's. The tracking focus also gave me some difficulty at first, but after a while, you get used to it, even though it can be annoying at times. Also, do not be fooled by the samples circulating on the internet; there are different lighting conditions where anyone with a little experience can make a photo look amazing even if it is not. Lastly, it is equally important to note that the megapixels do not determine the quality of a camera. While 20MP slightly increases the resolution of the pixels, there are many more factors at play from the manufacturers. Some basic things you need to know are the sensor and the aperture, which you should pay attention to when buying a camera. Ultimately, when you transfer the photos to your computer, you start to notice all the imperfections, such as noise, even in good lighting conditions.

Positive aspects:
- It has a very good color reproduction, with warm colors that may even look better than in reality.
- The flash is quite powerful and does a very useful job for capturing landscapes at long distances. It turns night into day, although this is not always a positive thing. However, if you place a small piece of tape or even insulating tape on the flash, you can make the photo pop. Try it and you will remember me.
- It also has settings for bracketing mode, which helps in creating HDR photos, as well as shutter speed up to 30", something that is missing from many cameras in this budget range. It also has various focusing and lighting techniques, as well as color splash effects, which many compact cameras in its category do not have.

In conclusion, it is a good camera for your vacations, and even a bit more if you know how to handle it and add some filters. It will provide you with a very pleasant experience, I guarantee it. For its current price, it may be the best option, although if you have the possibility to buy something more expensive, you could find something much better for around €200, even one that shoots in RAW. I did not mention batteries at all because simply with 1-2 pairs of rechargeable batteries, you can easily do your job.
