Stayros S. Kalenteridis

Stavros Kalenteridis began his studies in Athens, pursuing Political Science at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. After four years of active participation in the student governance bodies of his school, where he was elected president of the student association's board, he decided to continue his studies abroad. In Boston, USA, he completed two master's programs in International Relations and Political Communication, while simultaneously working at the Greek Consulate in Boston, as an academic research assistant at his school, and on two significant political campaigns—one for a Democratic and one for a Republican candidate. After three years, he felt the call of his homeland and returned to Greece with a strong desire to contribute. He was a founding member of two nonprofit organizations, Democracy of Ideas (a political organization) and Leontida (a foundation promoting issues of history, culture, and Democracy). Today, he lives and works in Athens, engaging in various political diplomacy projects, writing political articles, commenting on current affairs, and continuing his personal study of history and political philosophy.
