Katerina Ramandani - Santravela

Katerina Ramandani was born in Athens in August 1969. She grew up in Thessaloniki and hails from Pefkochori, Halkidiki. She studied programming at "ELKEPA" and attended a Creative Writing program at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She speaks English and Italian. Katerina is a member of the magazine "Kelaino" and the UNESCO Club of Piraeus and Islands. She works as an administrative employee at the Hippocrates Hospital in Athens, is married, and has two sons. In 2013, she was awarded the Third Prize twice by "Kelaino." In 2014, her poems were recognized by the "Café of Ideas," and she won the First Prize in two poetry categories at the "Sikeliana" awards. Her first novel, titled "Birthmark," also received an award from "Kelaino." In 2016 and 2017, she won the First Prize from "EPOK." Additionally, she received an erotic poetry award from director Th. Angelou and "Kelaino" in Pissona, Euboea, in May 2016. Her poems have been published in the magazine "Spiritual Life," "Kelaino," the newspaper "Paraskinio," and "Free Sunday."
