Marios Maniatis

Marios Maniatis was born in Athens. He graduated from the Department of Production Management at the University of Piraeus and holds a master's degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Leicester. He has been working for over 15 years in the broader field of human resources, employed by major Greek and international multinational companies operating in various sectors such as high technology, telecommunications, advertising, pharmaceuticals, automotive, and many others. Throughout his career, he has taken on significant and critical roles—consultant, human resources director, project/program manager in multinational projects related to human resources—that required special skills and effective collaboration with teams both in Greece and abroad. He has substantial experience in recruitment, having conducted hundreds of interviews and hired individuals across many professional categories and levels, with a focus on recruiting senior and top executives, significantly contributing to the successful staffing of the organizations he worked for. He has written numerous articles on human resource issues in relevant publications, and "Congratulations, You're Hired!" is his first book.
