Anastasia Gotovou

Anastasia Gotovou was born in Berlin. She completed her primary and secondary education in Germany and Greece and studied at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Department of English Language and Literature). She pursued a two-year postgraduate program at Aalborg University in Denmark (master's thesis title: "Towards a Re-negotiation of European Identity: The Challenge of Turkey"). She earned her Ph.D. in 2011 from the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy, and Psychology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (doctoral thesis title: "Teachers and the European Union: Perceptions and Attitudes of Greek Primary Education Teachers Regarding European Identity and the Impact of European Policy on Greek Education"). She has taught at the Department of Applied Foreign Languages in Management and Commerce at the Technological Educational Institute of Epirus and has worked on research and educational programs in intercultural education. She currently teaches as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Copenhagen.
