Xenofon A. Kokolis

Xenophon Asteriou Kokolis (Katerini, 1939) has lived in Thessaloniki since 1956. He taught Modern Greek Literature at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from 1965 to 2005. He has published articles and books on Seferis, Elytis, Cavafy, Karyotakis, the poets of Thessaloniki, Papadiamantis, Tolis Kazantzis, among others. He has also edited the literary albums "Zoe Karelli Reads Karelli," "Thessaloniki in Rebetika" 1 and 2, and "Primavera en Salonico - Spring in Salonica, Sephardic Folk Songs" (with Savina Yannatou).
