
Ilias Athanasiadis
Ilias Athanasiadis studied mathematics in Greece and pursued studies in statistics, sociology, and educational sciences in France. He taught at the Department of History at the Ionian University from 1986 to 1996 and has been teaching at the Department of Primary Education at the University of the Aegean since 2000. He holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the Department of Communication and Media Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He completed postgraduate studies (Master of Arts) in Mass Communications at the University of Leicester, Centre for Mass Communication Research, and is a graduate of the Department of English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has published the book "Factor Analysis of Correspondences and Hierarchical Classification" (Neon Technologies Publications, 1995) and co-authored the books "Historical Culture and Consciousness" (Noogramma, 2005) and "Children's Ideas about Children's Literature" (Topos, 2010). He has edited the collective volume "Dimensions of Research in the Field of Education and Pedagogy" (Neon Technologies Publications, 2011), and has edited and translated the books by A. Desrosieres "The Politics of Large Numbers" (Metaichmio, 2005) and O. Martin "Quantitative Data Analysis" (Topos, 2008).
