Ioannis Sklivaniotis

Giannis Sklivaniotis was born in Livadeia and completed high school in Athens. He has worked in various professions for a living while continuously engaging with and studying Greek and world literature, practicing writing without publishing. His ongoing interest in the works of contemporary painters and visual artists, along with developing close relationships with their work and the artists themselves, as well as his extensive music studies, have significantly influenced the development of his poetic and prose style. He made his literary debut in 1993 with the poetry collection "The Mythical." Kastaniotis Editions has published three poetry collections and two prose collections of his work.
