Anna Kelesidou

Anna Kelesidou was born in Drama to parents who were refugees from Asia Minor. She graduated from high school in Athens in 1953 with top honors. She studied philology at the University of Athens, French philology and language at the French Institute of Athens, Russian language at the Center for Southeast European Studies, and philosophy at the University of Grenoble. She has served as the Director of the KEEF Academy of Athens, a professor of philosophy, a professor at the French Institute of Athens, and the Director of the French Institute in Sparta and Nafplio. She is the Vice President of the International Center for Studies in Philosophy of Law (and a member of its Scientific Committee), a member of the Greek Kant Society, and Secretary of the International Society for the Study of Greek Philosophical Thought. Additionally, she is a member of numerous international societies and the Society of Greek Writers, where she also served on the Board of Directors. She has engaged in and published numerous philosophical works. She is a founding member of the Hellenic Philosophical Society and a corresponding member of the Moscow Academy.
