Elli Filokyprou

Elli Filokyprou was born in Athens in 1963. She studied Modern Greek Philology in Thessaloniki and Oxford. She has been teaching since 1992, initially in Secondary Education, then at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Cyprus, and currently at the Department of Communication and Media Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her research interests primarily focus on modern poetry.
