Dionysis Koukis

Dionysis Koukis was born in 1942. He holds a degree in Physics from the University of Athens and is a certified Electrical-Electronic Engineer from the Ecole Superieure d'Electricite (France). He has been the publisher of the magazine "Athenorama" since 1975 and of the magazine "EY" since 1996. In 1987, he founded the "Hellenic Wine Academy." He is a shareholder of the quality wine distribution company Intervino Ltd. and the wine production company Oinotechniki Nikiforou. Additionally, he was a founding member of the Center for the Preservation and Promotion of Greek Gastronomic Traditions "Archistratos" and is a member of the Association of Greek Gastronomes and the wine order "L' ordre du Bon Temps du Medoc et de Graves." He has been involved in journalism and wine and taste criticism since 1975. He has two children.
