Bjarne Stroustrup

Bjarne Stroustrup is the designer and first implementer of C++, as well as the author of the classic book "The C++ Programming Language." He is the chair of the Computer Science Department at Texas A&M University, a member of the National Academy of Engineering, and a member of AT&T. Before entering academia, he worked for decades at AT&T Bell Labs. He is a founding member of the ISO standards committee for C++.
