Ilianna Teazi - Antonakopoulou

Ilianna Teazi-Antonakopoulou was born in Athens and studied on a scholarship in the United States (Vassar College, BA in Sociology), in Paris (Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes, Maitrise in Ethnology), and in London (London School of Economics and Political Science, MA in Social Anthropology). She worked at the National Centre for Social Research, focusing primarily on cultural associations in Greece, and at the Research Centre for Greek Society of the Academy of Athens on studies concerning the social reproduction of the Greek family.
