Averil Cameron

Averil Cameron is an emeritus professor of Ancient and Byzantine History at the University of Oxford and has served as the dean of Keble College. She has been awarded the title of Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire. She has authored and edited numerous works on Byzantine and Ancient History. Her book "The Byzantines" was honored with the CRITICOS Prize in 2006.
