Lena I. Tsipouri

Lena Tsipouri is an associate professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Athens. She studied economics at the University of Vienna, completed her doctoral dissertation (Doctorat d'Etat) at Paris II University, and continued her studies with a Fulbright postdoctoral fellowship at MIT. She has worked as a consultant for the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis and the Ministry of National Economy. Her teaching and research focus on technology and industrial policy. She has conducted numerous studies for the United Nations Commission on Science and Technology for Development.
