
Georgios G. Panigyrakis
Georgios G. Panigyrakis is a professor in the Department of Business Administration at the Athens University of Economics and Business and the Director of the Interdepartmental MBA Program at AUEB. He studied at ASOEE and holds an M.Sc. in Marketing and a Ph.D. in Advertising from the University College of Wales, UK. He has taught as a regular professor at the École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales in Paris (Groupe ESSEC) and at the University of Stirling, UK. He is a visiting professor at the École Supérieure de Commerce in Nantes (France), the Institute of Mediterranean Studies in Zaragoza (Spain) since 1988, the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD-Brussels), and the Chartered Institute of Marketing since 1991. He has authored several books, and his articles have been published in journals. He has presented numerous papers at the British, French, European, American, and World Marketing Academies, of which he is a member. His professional interests encompass marketing, advertising, communication, public relations, sales, international marketing, and services marketing. He is a consultant, trainer, and collaborator in conducting studies for International Organizations, National Organizations, and businesses. He has also participated in various European Union programs and is the president of the Hellenic Institute of Customer Service. His research interests focus on Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communication, Brand Management, International Export Marketing, and Services Marketing.
