Nikolaos K. Mpaltas

Nikolaos Baltas is a Professor of Political Economy at the Athens University of Economics and Business (formerly ASOEE). He studied economics at ASOEE and pursued further studies at the University of Birmingham (UK), where he received his M.Soc.Sc and Ph.D. degrees in economics. He has taught at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and worked as a Special Scientist-Economist in the Studies and Planning Directorate of ATE. He has participated in numerous scientific conferences in various countries. He has published articles in Greek and international scientific journals, and his research monographs have been published. His main scientific interests focus on Microeconomic Theory, Agricultural Economics, and European Economic Integration.
