
Aris Konstantinidis
Aris Konstantinidis (Athens 1913-1993) studied architecture at the Technische Hochschule in Munich, from which he graduated in 1936. He worked at the Urban Planning Service of the city of Athens (1938-1942) and at the Ministry of Public Works (1942-50). He served as the head of the Studies Department of the Tourism Organization (1957-67), where he later became a special advisor (1975-78). He taught as a visiting professor at the Zurich Polytechnic (1967-70). He was an honorary doctor of the Polytechnic School of the University of Thessaloniki (1978) and an extraordinary member of the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts in Munich (1985). He wrote numerous articles and books, and his extensive architectural work was showcased in several exhibitions, books, and magazines in Greece and abroad.
