
Nikolaos Loudovikos
Fr. Nikolaos Loudovikos is a Professor of Dogmatics and Christian Philosophy at the Higher Ecclesiastical Academy of Thessaloniki, where he has served as President and Director of Priestly and Theological Studies. He is also a Visiting Professor at the University of Balamand, the Cambridge Orthodox Institute, and a researcher at the University of Winchester. He is the editor of the English-language international academic journal Analogia: the Pemptousia Journal for Theological Studies. Born in Volos, he studied psychology, pedagogy, theology, and philosophy in Athens, Thessaloniki, Paris (Sorbonne (Paris 4) and Institut Catholique de Paris), and Cambridge. He holds a Ph.D. in Theology from the University of Thessaloniki (1990). He worked at the Tyndale House Research Center for Early Christianity in Cambridge and has taught or conducted seminars at the Centre for Advanced Religious and Theological Studies (C.A.R.T.S.) of the Faculty of Divinity at the University of Cambridge, as well as at the University of Durham, and has delivered lectures at other universities and research centers. His books and articles have been translated into ten languages.
