Peter Jarvis

Peter Jarvis is a Professor of Continuing Education and the Director of the Centre for Research in Lifelong Learning at the University of Surrey. He is considered one of the foremost scholars in adult education. He has an extensive body of written work, and his books have been published in many countries. In 1998, he was awarded the Cyril O. Houle International Award for Outstanding Literature in Adult Education by the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education.
