Panagiotis I. Stamatis

Panagiotis I. Stamatis was born in Rhodes. He studied educational sciences at the Pedagogical Academy of Mytilene, the Department of Early Childhood Education at the University of the Aegean, the Department of Primary Education at the University of the Aegean, and its Teacher Training Institute, where he completed a two-year postgraduate program. He completed his doctoral dissertation at the Department of Preschool Education and Educational Design at the University of the Aegean. He has co-authored three books, two focusing on places of worship in Rhodes and one on informing parents, with an emphasis on educational topics. He has published two additional books, the first on the history of Rhodes for elementary school students, and the second on the history, folklore, and vocabulary of Damatria, Rhodes. Additionally, he has published numerous articles in newspapers, magazines, and books on historical, folklore, and significant educational topics. For his literary work, he has been honored by both local government bodies and social organizations. Since 1989, he has been serving in primary education while also teaching at the Department of Preschool Education and Educational Design at the University of the Aegean.
