Konstantinos Kafetsios

Konstantinos Kafetsios holds a degree from the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy, and Psychology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Ph.D. from the Department of Psychology at Lancaster University, England. He worked for many years as a Research Associate at the Centre for Family Research at the University of Cambridge, England, and as an Affiliate Lecturer in Social Psychology at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Cambridge. He was an Assistant Professor of Social Psychology and a founding member of the Department of Psychology at Anglia University in Cambridge. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Crete. His research focuses on the study of individual differences in adult attachment organization, communication in interpersonal relationships, and emotion, as well as applied areas of Social Psychology. He has published numerous scientific studies in international journals and conferences on Interpersonal Relationships and Emotion. He is a member of the International Association for Relationships Research and the International Society for Research on Emotion and has been a fellow of the British Academy and the Royal Society of Great Britain.
