Robert Anton Wilson

Robert Anton Wilson was born on January 18, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York. He was a contributor to Playboy magazine from 1966 to 1971. He describes himself as a futurist, writer, and stand-up comedian. He has authored several novels, including "Schrödinger's Cat Trilogy," which has been described as the most "scientific" of all science fiction novels, as well as numerous works on futuristic psychology and "guerrilla ontology." Along with Robert Shea, he co-authored "The Illuminatus! Trilogy," which is considered one of the top novels in American underground literature.
