Marina Tzakosta

Marina Tzakosta is an Assistant Professor of Language Development and Early Childhood Education in the Department of Preschool Education at the University of Crete. Her academic interests focus on language development, specifically the acquisition of the mother tongue and the learning of a second language, bilingualism and multilingualism, language disorders, language contact, language change, the development of writing systems, dialectology, and the teaching of Standard Modern Greek and its dialects.
