Nikolaos X. Gryllakis

Nikolaos X. Gryllakis was born in 1926 in Alikambos, Apokoronas, Chania. He holds a degree in mathematics with postgraduate studies in meteorology and applied statistics from Rutgers University in New Jersey, USA. He served as a senior executive at the Hellenic National Meteorological Service and has taught at various aviation training schools, including the School of Technical NCOs (STYA), the Air Force Academy (S.I.), and meteorology programs. Additionally, he taught for several years at the merchant marine captain schools in Aspropyrgos, Kymi, and the Center for Further Education of Merchant Marine Officers (KESEN).
