
Sotiris I. Nikolakopoulos
Sotiris I. Nikolakopoulos was born in Patras in the mid-20th century, where he also completed his studies at the Second Six-Year Gymnasium of Patras. He studied computer science at the BcS level in M.I.S. and specialized in Software Information Systems, always keeping up with the evolution of Informatics through additional studies and seminars. He served in the special forces as a reserve second lieutenant in the 1st Commando Squadron and the 5/75 Infantry Regiment.
He taught for twenty years at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens from 1985 to 2005, and simultaneously at post-secondary training and education schools. In 1980, he founded a School of Informatics - Economics - Management, which he successfully directed for 16 years alongside his other activities. Over 18,000 students graduated from this institution, receiving one or two-year education. In 1996, due to changes in the educational system, he transformed the school into an IT and Computer Company. Today, he manages the aforementioned IT Company as the CEO.
- Member of the Hellenic Society for Informatics and Computer Technology (EPY). Served for six years on the Board of Directors as Public Relations Officer.
- Member of the Hellenic Mountaineering Club, formerly a mountain guide, and served for four years on the Board of Directors.
- Member of the Athens Tennis Club (O.A.A.).
- Co-founder and vice-president for 15 years of the AENAO (International Center for Visual Arts) from 1980 to 1995.
He has published eight educational books on various computer science topics, which have been used in Higher Education Institutions and Technological Educational Institutes. He has also published numerous studies related to his field in computer science in magazines and newspapers. He debuted in literature in 2005 with the poetry collection "At Dawn."

To date, he has published eight poetry books and six books of Educational Literature (Essays and Historical). Beyond his publishing activities, for the past 25 years, he has been a speaker and presenter on various topics in the associations he is a member of and beyond. Since 2013, he has been publishing, directing, and writing for the quarterly Literary - Poetic magazine "Evlogon."
