
Dionysis Leimonis
Born in Aetoliko, he began writing stories and fairy tales for both children and adults at a very young age. He is a philologist at a Gymnasium in Nea Ionia, Volos. He contributes to the local press and online magazines. He is involved in the editing and critique of literary works, book presentations, and the organization of creative writing seminars. He also curates and hosts the literary radio show "Talking About Books." He is a member of the audit committee of the Magnesia Authors' Book Center, a regular member of the Greek Section of the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY), the Circle of the Greek Children's Book, and serves as the special secretary of the Thessaly Arts and Letters Association. In April 2015, he was awarded the Vasilis D. Anagnostopoulos Award by the Circle of the Greek Children's Book as a secondary education teacher who consciously promotes reading. Finally, his book "The Seventeenth Box" was among the top ten in the children's literature category for the Public Readers' Award 2015.
