Giorgos Rakkas

Giorgos Rakkas was born in 1981 in Thessaloniki, where he still resides and works as a private sector employee. He studied political science at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and received his PhD in sociology from Panteion University in 2018. He has been a member of the Editorial Board of the magazine Ardin since 1999, the newspaper Rixi since 2006, and the publication Neos Logios Ermis since 2011. As a member of the "Ardin" Movement, he is active in local government and has been elected as a municipal councilor in the Municipality of Thessaloniki since 2014.
