Eyagelia Papazi

Born and residing in Kardamyla, Chios, she is a mother of two daughters. As a student, she was awarded three times in literary competitions by the Philotechnical Club of Chios, in a nationwide Youth Initiative competition, and as an adult in a competition by the newspaper "Ethnos" on gender equality in 1983. She is a graduate of a private School of Journalism and writes for newspapers and magazines in Chios. She has served as a member and president of local associations, actively participates in the cultural events of her area, and is a member of a theater group. She collects folklore elements of her region and is the author of the books "Kardamyla. Tour-Folklore" and "Climb Apple-Descend Pomegranate." She worked as a tour guide at the Ionic Center and runs a travel agency in Kardamyla, Chios.
