Persefoni Papadopoulou

Persephone Papadopoulou (Paphos 1888-Patras 1948). A graduate of the Teacher Training School of Nicosia and the Arsakeio Teacher Training School of Athens, she taught in secondary education schools in Cyprus. She subsequently studied pedagogy and literature at universities in Paris, and from 1935, she took over the direction of the Arsakeio Schools in Patras, where she lived until the end of her life. She published the women's magazine "Estiades" (Famagusta 1913-1915) and released poetry, prose, critical texts, and translations, which are expected to be compiled into a volume by Giota Paraskeva.
