
Dimitris Gavalas
Dimitris Gavalas was born in Corinth in 1949. He studied mathematics and pursued postgraduate studies in cybernetics. At the same time, he delved into Jungian psychology, psychoanalysis, Gurdjieff, and Zen. He also completed postgraduate studies in mathematics and didactics (doctoral dissertation). He works as a mathematics teacher in secondary education (Varvakeios School) and is an associate of the Pedagogical Institute. Publications: Papers in international and Greek journals, as well as in the proceedings of scientific conferences. He has authored scientific and school books, as well as chapters in educational books. Additionally, he has published poetry collections, essays, and articles on literature. He translated Nicoll's book "Psychological Commentaries on the Teaching of Gurdjieff."
