Katerina Flora

Katerina Flora has studied Psychology and holds postgraduate degrees in Clinical and Social Psychology with a specialization in addictions and psychosocial problems (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), as well as in Social and Political Theory (Panteion University) and European Literature (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki). Her doctoral thesis in Clinical Psychology focuses on the systematic study of significant factors in the treatment of addiction to psychoactive substances. Currently, she teaches as a lecturer in clinical psychology at Neapolis University Pafos. She has worked in psychosocial rehabilitation centers and as a therapist for children and adults. She has participated in European programs on psychosocial care, intercultural approaches, and youth counseling in Switzerland and Germany. She has taught at public universities and technical institutes in the fields of Clinical Psychology, Counseling, and Social Psychology. She has published scientific papers in international journals and has presented at conferences in the field of psychosocial problems and psychotherapy. Her research interests include the prevention and treatment of psychosocial problems, positive psychology, the narrative approach, and the study of social factors of mental illness.
