Flora Tsapala

Flora Tsapala holds a degree from the Department of Sociology at the University of the Aegean and is currently a postgraduate student in the Master's Program of the same department, titled "Research on Local Social Development and Cohesion." She has worked on two research projects at the University of the Aegean (2008-2010) and served as the executive secretary for the scientific journal "Journal of the Greek Statistical Association" Volume 5, 2009, and "Contemporary Society, Education, and Mental Health" (SKEPSY) Issues 1-2 (2008-2009). Additionally, she volunteered at the Social Support Company for Minors and Adolescents "STEGI" and the deinstitutionalization shelter of IKPA "Theomitor." She also participated as an organizing secretary in the 6th National & International HSSS Conference "Systemic Approaches in Social Structures" and the scientific conference "Targeted Actions of Social Welfare and Solidarity." Her scientific and research interests focus on the application of quantitative and qualitative methodologies, demography, and issues related to local and regional development. She has authored two articles in scientific journals and several articles in newspapers and thematic websites, while also participating in numerous scientific conferences and seminars.
