I don't have previous experience with IPL, but I have done Alexandrite for many years. This one doesn't hurt at all, I don't think it can even cause burns, the only possible risk is probably for the eyes (it comes with special glasses in the package). The hairs take 2 weeks to start falling out. For an amateur device, I think it is very good. Careful construction and packaging. I would recommend it, but if you have never done laser before, it's better to have a few sessions with a specialist first.''
