Sound plays an important role both in the use of audio and video files and in communication in general. The headphones market is huge, and every company is trying to catch your eye and win you over. Most focus mainly on design and performance, and we are all looking for something special.

Unique Design

The design of the Huawei FreeClip is truly unique, as it breaks away from the ordinary and the headset sets that fill the ear, offering a range of modern features. The new earbuds are like clips that attach to the ear like jewelry and hang touching the front and back part. They are so comfortable that even after many hours you don't realize you're wearing them, resulting in never taking them out of your ear. They are designed in a way that the manufacturer notes they have been successfully tested on over 10,000 ear types and work perfectly. The sound comes from the inner part that is placed at the entrance of the ear, while it is supported by the base that touches the back part. They weigh almost 5.6 grams and charge and are transported through the relative case that comes with them in the purchase package. They have three different LEDs that show the battery status. It starts from green when it is charged above 75% and as it decreases it turns yellow and red.

Functionality / Performance

The earbuds connect easily and work with both Huawei devices and HarmonyOS, as well as with Android, through Huawei's own AI Life app. They support simultaneous operation with two of your devices, offering a convenience that you definitely want. For example, if you are working on your laptop and your phone rings, you can answer without doing anything special and without any delay. Despite its "open" design, it manages to isolate to a large extent the sound of the interlocutor and not be disturbed by environmental noise. You can wear them even at the gym, as they are IP54 certified and their autonomy reaches 8 hours for music with one charge. If we also consider the energy provided by the carrying case, we reach almost four times that. Something of particular interest is the automatic ear recognition. The two pieces of the set are identical and automatically recognize the ear to which you will connect them.

Conclusion

The Huawei FreeClip is one of the most interesting products I have come across in recent years. The comfort of their use and performance make me highly recommend them, especially for users like me who spend many hours a day talking on their phone or computer via communication apps.
