Graphics card

If the tasks you want to perform are not related to video editing or graphics, then the card already integrated into the processor will be sufficient.

If, however, video quality plays an important role, then you need a laptop with a dedicated graphics card, for greater performance. 

Which one should you choose? The 2 main brands are Nvidia with the GeForce RTX series and AMD with Radeon RX. If you are on a limited budget, an RTX 3050 or 3060 will be more than satisfactory; otherwise, you can prefer an AMD Radeon RX 6600. If you want something more premium, then it is worth investing in a newer generation, such as the GeForce RTX 4070 or 5070 or Radeon RX 7700 or 9700.

Storage space

Almost all laptops that are small in size in order to be portable come with an SSD drive, which is faster and more durable than classic hard drives.

• If you need video editing and handle very large files, prefer 1TB or even 2TB. Beyond that, you can get an external SSD if you need extra storage space.
• If there is no need for large files, a capacity of 256GB or 512GB is enough.
