New simple & fast identification method for purchases 39a
If you are a freelancer or have a business subject to the standard VAT regime, we have great news for you!
Technology purchases subject to Article 39a are now easier on Skroutz, thanks to the new simplified identification process.
Buy mobile phones, laptops, tablets and game consoles with VAT exemption (24%) at the time of purchase even faster.
The only thing you need to benefit from Article 39a is to upload the required documents directly from your mobile phone for identification.
How to start your order
Add the products you need and in the cart select "Invoice issuance".
The Skroutz system will automatically recognize if the items you selected are eligible for the exemption of Article 39a.
If they are supported, you will need to verify your business details using one of the two methods below
How to verify your documents
This is the fastest way if you haven't set up the digital services of AADE and have your company documents handy.
Depending on the legal form of your business, you will need to upload the following:
- Freelancers / Sole Proprietorships: A single identification document is sufficient (your Police ID or Passport).
- Legal Entities (SA, LP, GP, PC): The Company Representation Certificate is required, as well as the identification document of the legal representative.
Company Representation Certificate: This is the document that certifies your right to legally represent the company. In simple terms, it gives you signing authority and is often used in Banks, Public Services, Contracts, etc.
How to issue it: 1. Go to businessportal.gr → 2. Login with Taxisnet → 3. Select company → 4. Certificates → 5. Pay the fee (~5€) → 6. Download PDF
- Purchase by an authorized third party: If a partner receives or places an order, an Authorization (issued via gov.gr or with certified signature) and the ID of the authorized person will be required.
Useful Tip: Take a clear photo of the documents with your mobile phone and upload it directly. The system accepts PDF, JPG, and PNG files (with a maximum size of 25MB per file).
For documents issued via gov.gr, make sure the QR code has not been altered before uploading, so that their authenticity can be easily verified from the official state website.
Is there an alternative?
