The new devices focus dramatically on the local execution of Artificial Intelligence models (Agentic AI) and will be available in stores from 22 September 2026.

Apple Mac Mini 2026 (M6 & M5 Pro)

The Mac Mini is being radically upgraded, becoming the company’s first computer to adopt the M6 processor generation.

• M6 Processor: Built on 2nm, it features a 12-core CPU (40% faster than the M4) and a 12-core GPU. For the first time, Neural Accelerators are integrated into each GPU core, delivering up to 4x faster performance in AI tasks and 2x faster graphics.

• M5 Pro Processor: For more demanding professionals, it offers up to 18 CPU cores and 20 GPU cores with 3rd gen ray tracing, supporting up to 64GB of unified memory (307GB/s bandwidth) for running large language models.

• Connectivity: Upgraded to Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and 2.5Gb Ethernet (with an option for 10Gb). On the front, it has two USB-C ports and a headphone jack, while the back includes 3 Thunderbolt 4 ports (on the M6 version) or Thunderbolt 5 (on the M5 Pro version), an HDMI port, as well as Genlock support via USB-C for synchronization with professional cameras.

• Memory & Storage: The base M6 version now starts with 16GB of RAM (expandable up to 32GB) and double the storage speed.

Apple Mac Studio 2026 (M5 Max & M5 Ultra)

With the discontinuation of the Mac Pro, the Mac Studio is now Apple’s flagship offering for extreme workstation performance.

• M5 Ultra Processor: It is the most powerful processor Apple has ever built. It allows multiple Mac Studio units to be connected together (clustering) for shared memory, making it possible to run local AI models with up to 1 trillion parameters.

• M5 Max Performance: Delivers nearly 4 times faster processing of large language models (LLMs) compared to the previous generation.

• Targeted Use: Designed for AI researchers, 3D/VFX artists, developers, and video producers who require the highest possible computing power without relying on cloud infrastructure.

Prices and Availability

All new computers will be delivered with the new macOS 27 Golden Gate operating system, which integrates the new generation of Apple Intelligence and the revamped Siri AI.
