Clear- With Sealed Seams: Sealed seams are seams sealed on the inside (with tape or a special treatment) to prevent water from seeping through the stitch holes. They are essential for true waterproofing, especially in heavy or prolonged rain.
- with Reflective Tapes: Provides high visibility even in very low light or darkness, through the reflective tapes it has.
- EVA: Very lightweight and flexible material. Offers basic protection from rain, but usually lacks the durability required for heavy-duty professional use.
- PVC: A coating that provides good waterproofing with a softer feel than PVC. It usually offers greater comfort and flexibility for extended work in rainy conditions.
- Cotton made: A natural, comfortable material that feels good against the skin, but absorbs water. For waterproof workwear, it needs special treatment or a coating; otherwise, it won’t provide adequate protection in heavy rain.
- Nylon: Strong synthetic material with good resistance to abrasion and tearing. It is lightweight and suitable for frequent use, especially when it has a waterproof coating and properly sealed seams.
- Polyamide: A durable synthetic material with high mechanical strength and good elasticity. Used in demanding workwear, it performs best when combined with a waterproof coating.
- Polyester: Lightweight, durable fabric that dries quickly and retains its shape. Often combined with a PU/PVC coating for better waterproofing during everyday work.
- Polyurethane: A coating that provides good waterproofing with a softer feel than PVC. It usually offers greater comfort and flexibility for extended work in rainy conditions.
- EN 343: Assesses resistance to water penetration (classes 1–4) and fabric breathability (classes 1–4), helping keep workers dry from both external rain and perspiration.
- EN ISO 13688: A basic standard that applies to all workwear. It sets requirements for ergonomics, fabric safety (non-toxic materials), durability, dimensional stability after washing, and clear labeling of sizes and instructions.
- EN ISO 20471: Essential for waterproof workwear used in roadworks or construction sites. Certifies the wearer’s visibility in low-light conditions, classifying the garment as Class 1, 2, or 3 based on the area of reflective material and fluorescent fabric.
