Charger from the company Epsolar suitable for installations up to 20A at 24V. This is a PWM type. PWM charge controllers simply connect the solar panel to the battery (12/24/48V) functioning as simple switches. When the switch is closed, the panel voltage is equal to the battery voltage. The result is that the voltage of the system that the PWM charge controller can accept depends on the battery voltage and is small, usually one or two panels of 100/200Wp in series with correspondingly low charging current compared to the capabilities of an MPPT charge controller. Based on the above, PWM charge controllers are ideal for smaller systems where system efficiency is not such an important factor and for solar collectors with a maximum power voltage (Vmp) of up to 18V for charging a 12V battery.
