The Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR is a constant-aperture telephoto zoom lens for Nikon F-mount cameras with a full-frame sensor. Autofocus with the Silent Wave Motor (SWM) supports tracking fast-moving subjects, while VR reduces blur caused by camera shake. SPORT VR mode is designed for capturing fast or unpredictable action, and stabilisation can also be used with a tripod.
The optical construction includes six ED glass elements, a fluorite element and an HRI element. The Nano Crystal Coat reduces ghosting and reflections, while the fluorine coating on the front and rear protective glass makes cleaning easier. The body and moving parts are sealed to protect against dust and water droplets.
