This book was written to introduce the reader in a simple and understandable way to the theory of electrical circuits. With the help of practical examples, the various methods of analyzing electrical circuits are made comprehensible.
In Chapter 1, useful mathematical concepts are presented: signals and complex numbers. Chapter 2 contains the basic concepts and principles of electrical circuits. In Chapters 3 and 4, we provide the fundamental theorems of electrical circuits. Chapter 5 presents dependent sources and coupled circuits.
Chapter 6 contains the very interesting in practice case of circuit operation in the Sinusoidal Steady State. Chapter 7 introduces three-phase circuits. Finally, Chapter 8 presents the two systematic methods for solving electrical circuits: the loop current method and the node voltage method.
We hope this will be useful to the reader, as well as the other volumes in the series.
