Description

Description

This book is the third volume in the series ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING. It is intended for students of the ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING School, as well as other related sciences.

It is useful for the reader to study linear differential equations (from our book titled: ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS) before beginning the study of this book. This will greatly facilitate the situation since differential equations are the essential study tool for the majority of this book. We also recommend that the reader review volume ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING I, and be prepared with the basic methods from volume ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING II.

This volume examines transient phenomena in electrical circuits with an emphasis on first and second-order circuits. The method of the Laplace transformation, state equations, and Fourier analysis are then developed.
