First of all, I have to say that I have a very good power supply and a simple Refurbish UPS. All from Powertech. I am very satisfied with the quality of their products and their low prices.

I bought this adapter to be able to connect an old graphics card (ASUS Radeon HD 7750 1 GB) that I have with a small and cheap LED monitor from ASUS, with a diagonal of 18.5 inches, maximum resolution of 1366X768, and an aspect ratio of 16:9.

This monitor is one of the most difficult to find today, and it was a feat for my adapter to correctly detect it with such a quick response. This monitor only has one VGA port.

Note that very new graphics cards do not have a DVI-I port to connect this adapter. But they have the so-called DVI-D port, which requires a more expensive adapter of a different type. So, this adapter is useful and makes sense to be used only with older graphics cards and not with the new ones.

I have been using this adapter for about 3 years without any problems. The model I have is of excellent quality and is entirely (both ports) gold or gold-plated if you will. The construction materials are very sturdy, with plastic and metal elements.

One thing to note is that it provides your computer with many screen and graphics resolutions (e.g. 1920X1080). However, you should be careful when selecting a resolution because the monitor you are connecting may not support it. You can check the highest graphics resolution supported by your monitor. If you know its model number, you can search for it on www.skroutz.gr or on the manufacturer's website.

However, if you accidentally select a resolution that your monitor does not support, do not worry. If you wait a few seconds, your computer will automatically return to the previous resolution compatible with your system. So, nothing will be damaged in your machine. Don't worry about it.

In conclusion, this product is affordable but of excellent quality and will come in handy if your monitor is VGA only. Buy it cheaply and without fear!
