The best I have tried along with El Dorado 25 among dozens of the best aged rums from Greece and abroad. Both are overrated for their price but they are still perhaps the best ones along with a few others that I haven't tried. Even so, they are not much superior to some considerably cheaper ones. However, if someone has the financial ability, it is worth trying them, although they will regret it a little at first, but then they will forget everything. The taste is buttery-dense and intense, the aroma reminds me, as strange as it may seem, of the Metaxa Private Reserve (new edition) tasted side by side. A very rich experience with intense aging blending in bourbon, cognac, and sherry barrels, but a balanced flavor that is sweeter than the XO and the 23, but with the classic character of Zacapa, just richer and more fruity (a hint of cherry in the aftertaste compared to the other two).
