I have it since 2011 I think. Amazing!! And if it has been screwed, filed, drilled, hit, cut everything! Many camping trips, DIY projects at home, bike, motorcycle, scooter, spaceship. :)
Before this, I had 2 Leatherman (blast & super tool 300) and also an old Gerber. The 2 Leatherman got "fractures" in some of their tools with less force than the Swiss one. The Gerber became a gamble...
The great advantages of the Swisstool are the waiting for bits, sockets, pliers, etc., and that the tools can be accessed without opening the pliers. They also have a very good locking mechanism when they are open, even if you open all of them together. (Don't do it, the locks will loosen over time)
Ideally, I would like an easier opening of the tools (it requires a nail) and the ability to replace the cutters, like in the supertool 300, which was not bad but did not have the quality of the Swisstool, nor its price on the other hand (let's not forget).
I bought the Swisstool from a store in Germany for 80€, package with genuine accessories, leather belt pouch, sockets, and optical screwdriver!
The Spirit from the same company is also good, but more "fake" and I don't like its tools either...
Το εχω απ το 2011 νομιζω. Αρμα!! Και αν εχει βιδωσει, λιμαρει, τρυπησει, χτυπησει, κοψει τα απαντα! Πολλα camping, μαστορεματα σε σπιτι, ποδηλατο, μηχανη, πατινι, διαστημοπλοιο. :)
Πριν απο αυτο ειχα 2 Leatherman (blast & super tool 300) οπως κ ενα Gerber παλιο. Τα 2 Leatherman αποκτησανε "καταγματα" σε καποια σπο τα εργαλεια τους με λιγοτερα ζορια απ τον Ελβετο. Το Gerber απεκτησε τζογο...
Μεγαλα πλεονεκτηματα του Swisstool ειναι η αναμονη για μυτες, καστανια, τιρμπουσον κλπ και οτι τα εργαλεια αναπτυσσονται χωρις να ανοιξεις την πενσα. Επισης εχουν πολυ καλο κλειδωμα οταν ειναι ανοιχτα, εστω κ αν τα ανοιξεις ολα μαζι. (μην το κανετε, θα χαλαρωσουν οι ασφαλειες με τον καιρο)
Ιδανικα θα ηθελα πιο ευκολο ανοιγμα των εργαλειων (χρειαζεται νυχι) και να υπηρχε δυνατοτητα αντικαταστασης των κοπτηρων του, οπως στο supertool 300, το οποίο δεν ηταν κακο αλλα δεν ειχε την ποιοτητα του Swisstool, ουτε κ την τιμη του απ την αλλη (μην ξεχνιομαστε).
Το Swisstool το ειχα αγορασει απο καταστημα της Γερμανιας 80€, πακετο με γνησια αξεσουαρ δερματινη θηκη ζωνης, τιρμπουσον και κατσαβιδι οπτικων!
Καλο κ το Spirit της ιδιας εταιριας, αλλα πιο "ψευτικο" και δε μου αρεσουν και τα εργαλεια του...
