Good and economical machete but it needs a bit of work from the user to become functional. It does not come sharpened and the wooden handle is rough. It needs a bit of sanding to become smoother and not irritate the palm.
    ....
In terms of durability, the handle seems to be good, but generally, the wood is easy to split and requires maintenance. Personally, I applied it with wax cream and when it absorbed it all, I wrapped it tightly with thin paracord.
    ....
The steel is 1070 quality and of course not stainless. The blade, 2 mm thick, withstands very well even under lateral-front stress without breaking. It is flexible and has great resistance to fracture.
    .....
It is made in Brazil, where, from what I read, it is widely used. At 15 euros it is quite vfm. At 9.5 euros, which it was at the beginning of the year, it was super.
