The Morakniv Bushcraft Survival Black survival knife has a fixed blade made of Swedish carbon steel with a black DLC coating, which offers some protection against rust and reduces reflections. The blade has a Scandi grind and a straight 90° spine for use with a ferro rod, while the tang extending three-quarters of the way along the handle supports hunting and woodworking tasks.
The ergonomic rubber and polymer handle has a non-slip texture and a finger guard. The polymer sheath includes an integrated fire starter, a diamond-surface sharpener, a clip and a belt loop. The blade should be cleaned, dried and oiled after use.
