Vikings: Wolves of Midgard for Xbox One combines action and role-playing gameplay with Norse mythology. As the leader of the Ulfung clan, the player faces the Giants of Fire and Ice and the creatures of Fimbulwinter, aiming to save Midgard from destruction.
Combat features swords, bows and magical staves, while Rage mode boosts attacks. Blood from defeated enemies is offered at the altar in exchange for divine gifts that increase your powers, and talismans imbued with divine powers grant additional abilities. The game supports online co-op for two players and offers four difficulty levels, including the challenging Hardcore mode. An Xbox Live Gold subscription, sold separately, is required for online play.
