Users are generally very satisfied, praising the ease of use, good speeds, and transparent, practical design. They say the drive fits securely and that the enclosure is useful for turning laptop or PS4 drives into external drives. However, some mention fragile plastic or issues with fit and compatibility.
The reasons I chose it were the good reviews, but more importantly the aesthetics and practicality compared to the closed aluminum corners. I did not regret it
I installed an SSD on my wife's laptop and bought the case so that the old hard drive could be used as an external one. Possibly because the laptop had a SATA II drive (weird, right?), it doesn't recognize the drive, so the case remained unused
I bought the case to make the PS4's hard drive external after upgrading the PS4 with an SSD. On my computer, it showed some strange things on the USB ports of the case, while other external ones I have had no issues. While I was ready to return it, I tried the back ports of the motherboard and there was no problem there... strange things. In the end, it works fine on the PS4 with a maximum speed of about 110 to 120.
From an SSD inside the system to a budget SSD in this case, I consistently saw speeds of over 360MB/s when transferring a file of ~9GB. So I am satisfied with the speeds it can achieve, not so much with the quality of the plastic, which seems fragile. Overall, I consider it a good purchase for its price.
There is nothing negative. It worked perfectly as an external drive for my laptop, and the disk fits snugly inside the case.
One of the best cases I have bought. And tight fit of the disk without moving without any vibrations
Always orico cases are good and reliable. Excellent compatibility good speeds. With the transparent material you can see which disk is inside especially if used for professional use.
